Level 4 Cryotherapy Induced Lipolysis Course
February 12, 2019 - February 13, 2019
Cryotherapy Induced Lipolysis is the newest form of non-invasive fat reduction without damaging other cells and tissue. Treatment involves controlled cooling of fat tissue through the skin to induce lipolysis through a process known as apoptosis during which the affected fat cells begin to shrink and break down and be naturally metabolised and removed by the lymphatic system, resulting in the reduction of the fat layer. The client will experience a 20 – 25% fat reduction in the treated area from a single session. Cryotherapy Induced Lipolysis is most effective on dense fat layers like: flanks (love handles), abdomen, back fat as well as inner thighs and arms. This is not a weight loss treatment or an alternative to surgery, it is an excellent choice for clients, who despite a healthy lifestyle, still have small pockets of fat that just will not respond to diet or exercise.
NB: We expect students to have read the course materials fully prior to attending the onsite courses at the Academy of Advanced Beauty
Our courses are suitable for Beauty Therapists with the suitable pre-requisites (Level 3 Beauty or equivalent) and Aesthetic practitioners
Our short courses, for those wish to learn more about the treatments without gaining an accredited Level 4 course, are one day in duration
Our Level 4 course is based on core knowledge taught on the short course but in addition includes a substantial theory component which explores the science behind the treatment further, and comprises of a two-day practical training session (rather than one in the short course) where you will be asked to demonstrate your competence in the treatment through a series of assessments and exams
Level 4 Accredited Course certificates will be issued externally. For our Short Courses, we will provide an Academy of Advanced Beauty Diploma
The Cryotherapy Induced Lipolysis Level 4 Course carries 8 credits and will qualify you for insurance cover. Some of these credits can be transferred to other courses if the subject matter overlaps. For example, if you have studied the necessary Health and Safety legislation in the Aesthetics sector, you will not need to cover this in the same amount of detail for any additional course which covers this same material
